The architect has always thought about the scale of the object, seeing it as a natural extension of his work and the culmination of his approach. Blending architecture and design, Collateral Edition conveys the vision and passion of contemporary architects through original everyday objects.
Icons such as Jean Prouvé, Mies van der Rohe and Aldo Rossi have marked the history of modern industrial design by applying their architectural research to furniture. This cross-disciplinary approach, once commonplace, has unfortunately tended to disappear from the furniture publishing landscape since the 90s. Collateral Edition seeks to revive this tradition, celebrating the harmonious integration of architecture and design in unique, functional creations, reviving this interdisciplinary emulsion.

La Grande Motte lamps
Three gleams emanating from the sunrise, sunset and bridge. These are the origins that inspired Gauthier Demumieux's La Grande Motte lamps, whose delicate contours and luminosity evoke the grace of this iconic Mediterranean town. The design of the slender steel sails pays homage to the sailing ships that ply the seas and the distinctive architectural curves of the town's designer, Jean Balladur. Like objects in motion, their presence in the interior space transforms it into an intimate landscape, transporting occupants to other horizons.
